A series of three weekly classes coordinated by a Certified Childbirth Educator and conducted by healthcare professionals. The classes are designed to provide information you need concerning pregnancy, childbirth and infant care. Athens Regional Medical Center is a Basic Life Support Training Agency through the American Heart Association. Pris Cornwall, RN, CDE, is Training Center Manager and a Basic Life Support Instructor Trainer. Classes offered include: Industrial First Responders; Professional Medical Office Staff Certification (Healthcare Provider); and BLS for community or church groups. Senior Wellness

Location: Athens Regional Rehabilitation Center at 425 Old Riceville Road, Athens, TN
An individualized wellness program designed to help seniors stay fit for life. Each participant is evaluated by a physical therapist on the first visit and an exercise program set up based on specific needs. Thereafter, participants will log their own exercises at each session with therapists available to assist and monitor their progression. For information call (423) 744-0002.
